Directions:

By Car From M6 North Leave the M6 at junction 39. Turn left onto the A6 and travel south to Kendal. On entering Kendal follow the signs for Windermere. see M6 South directions below By Car From M6 South Leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow the signs for Western Lakes Windermere A590 then A591 for approx 16 miles. On entering Windermere The Windermere Hotel is on your right keep straight on for Ambleside. After approx 1 2 mile turn right at the mini roundabout signed Kirkstone Pass Ullswater A592 . After approx 2 miles turn left signed Troutbeck beware this is an acute turn. Proceed up the hill and turn right at the top. After approximately 100 metres look for two white cottages one on the left and one on the right turn right into a forecourt. High Fold Guest House is the building immediately ahead of you.
