Leave the motorway at junction 36 and proceed along the A591 dual carriageway for 8 miles turning left at the roundabout onto the B5284 signed to Hawkshead Ferry and Crook. After 7 miles the road crosses the Lyth Valley road onto Longtail Hill. Lindeth Howe is clearly signposted on the left just 150 metres down Longtail Hill.
