St John's Lodge is the food lover's choice. It probably offers the largest selection of breakfast menu in the area. From a touring visitors point of view or if you prefer healthier alternatives this is a refreshing change. There is an arrival bay at the front of the building there is nose to tail parking for about 6 cars at the side of the building there is a free parking bay opposite and there is plenty of free street parking. All guests are offered free temporary membership to a nearby local luxury leisure club about two minutes by car . The club has a pool sauna steam room Jacuzzi and small work out area. It is also possible to book for badminton table tennis or squash. squash players have to pay for lights . Drive through village towards Bowness and Lake. This road is 'New Road'. In about 1 2 mile there is a Catholic Church on left. St John's Lodge is approximately 100 yards on left hand side.
